During CSLA's 2007 National Conference in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, Linda Corey, Librarian at First Lutheran Chuch in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, presented an informative workshop entitled Visual Ways to Promote Your Library." As part of her program, Linda showed a PowerPoint presentation featuring numerous photographs of creative ideas she had employed in her own church library.

CSLA has received a number of requests to make Linda's PowerPoint presentation available via our website. Though the PowerPoint file is far too large to be conveniently downloaded, we have made the presentation available in slideshow format on this page.

To view the slideshow:

• Click the "Next" and "Back" buttons to browse through the images in the slideshow window displayed above.

• Full-size images may be viewed by clicking on the image in the slideshow window. The enlarged image will be displayed in a separate pop-up window. To return to the slideshow, simply close the pop-up window.

• To save an image to your computer, do the following:

  • Windows Users: Right-click on the full-size image, click "Save image as..." and select the directory to which you would like the image saved.

  • Mac Users: Click on the image and hold the mouse button down, then click "Save this image as..." and select the director to which you would like the image saved.
